When a guy looks into your eyes

Question Posted Tuesday July 16 2013, 6:34 am

So there is this guy who I like and i'm not sure if he likes me. We are strangers but we see each other almost everyday and everytime we look at each other, we look into each other's eye and only the eye.
Twice we looked at each other in the eye on different days and it lasted for quite a while.
Does it mean anything?

There's a good chance he's attracted to you. I mean you don't normally stare into someones eyes unless you are into them.
You should try talking to him. You never know where it could go.

I'll ask you a question first. Do you find yourself looking into the eyes of other guys like that? Not likely. Humans will look at what is attractive to their eye. So he is most likely feeling the same as you, some initial attraction.
When you say "Lkie" we need to be clear what we are talking about.
Being attracted to a persons looks doesnt mean you like who that person is inside, right now attraction is just the outside thing.
Until two people begin having conversation, spending time together and getting to know each other, there is no way to know if the attraction will extend further to who they are on the inside.
I will go as far as to say that sometimes, two strangers can find themselves staring each other in the eyes because unbeknownst to them, there was a pheremone attraction which is an excretion of a chemical factor that triggers a social response in members of the same species. That is all the staring is right now.

Why he hasn't spoken to you, could be that he is too shy to say anything
or perhaps he is not available, but dating someone.
You can be dating or married. Your relationship status does not take your body "off the market" as far as your bodys pheremone reaction is concerned. Nothing to feel guilty about...its a natural response. Just some people use self control and internally register they have a reaction but for commitment reasons don't act on it.Find a way to introduce yourself. Next time he is staring into your eyes walk over and say Hi. My name is (your name) and I see you here all the time. If this is the same office building, you could ask where he works, same company, what department. If you run into him at school you could ask who is his teacher for math or science. If you run into him at the same Starbucks, you might ask what his favorite drink is. Once you have started the convo, make sure you make another statement. You could point blank ask if he is seeing anyone and if he says yes, then you say, "She's a lucky girl. Well, nice talking to you" and go on your way.

Last year, during practice I would turn around and always see one guy staring at me and it ended up that he liked me at the time, it might mean something. You should go up to him and say hi! I hope this helped, Good Luck! :)
