I can't stop thinking about the past!?

Question Posted Tuesday July 9 2013, 12:55 am

All I think about non stop is the past and regrets over the past. All I keep thinking about is "I wish I had did this or I had done that" or "I wish I had talked to that person or that person" or "I wish I had participated in this or that activity". That is all I think about. Hell, next year from now, I will probably be thinking the same way about right now! how can I stop regretting over the past or longing for the past and focus on now? I just can't do it. I am 21 year old by the way

Don't regret things that happened in the past because you'll miss so much happening in the future. Never regret. Whatever is did is done and live and move on!

Don't regret things that happened before! If you want to try to do something now do it! At your age, with some organizing, confidence, and the right tools, you can do almost anything! Get into something new! Another thing is to remember that the things you did before effect you now! All the good things that are happening to you came because you did or didn't do something, or talk to someone! If it helps think of your friends and how you met them. You can even ask them to help you pick a new hobby or try something new! Good luck and remember, you can't do much about those things before, except do them now!
