Okay so, My boyfriend will be turning 16 years old in a week, We've been together for 3 1/2 months and i really don't know what to get him, I'm also 16. I really can't get anything expensive because i don't have a job, and don't have much money, so it has to be something I can afford. Any advice on what to get a guy for his 16th birthday ? Please And thank you.

Do you know what things he's into? If he's into sports you can find something that's sports related or a team he really likes. What kind of music does he like? You could make him a CD, or get him an Itunes card.
I love gift baskets. You can get a lot of cheap but cool things and put it in a basket. For my boyfriend last year, I made him a gift basket. I went down and aisle that had little shampoos and other little things. I got little shampoos, cologne, after shave, ect. I also put candy in it and a gift card. I made a homemade card and also made heart shaped brownies and cake pops.
Boys love food, so he'll definitely appreciate some baked goods. You can make cookies, brownies, cupcakes, ect.
You could even cook him dinner.
You could get a picture frame, decorate it, and put a picture of the two of you in it.

You know how some gals will collect anything to do with cats, or dragonflies or their favorite singer or actor. Does he have a hobby, like rollerskating? For example, if that were it, you can get a roller skate key ring, dollar stores are good bets for key rings with something for everybodys favorite thing. Does he have a favorite singer or band, and is there an album of theirs he doesn t have yet. Enlist the help of his family to provide you with the names of albums he already has so you can be sure not to duplicate. Does he wear baseball hats? Does he have a favorite color, get one in his favorite color.
Or maybe, give him a card that says you are treating him out to a movie of his choice. It won't be something he has to look at again like a hat but it will still be meaningful. [ Dragonflymagic's advice column | Ask Dragonflymagic A Question ]
