Since you haven't had your cycle yet, I hesitate to suggest any hormonal birth control because I don't know if it could mess up your natural cycle starting. Hormones mess with womens bodies in many ways, lots of side effects, some have trouble getting a normal cycle later or the opposite, heavy bleeding that won't stop. If you decide you are ready to have sex, I would suggest you read up on-line about the copper IUD not the Mirena. The copper has a way of preventing pregnancy without use of hormones. With this IUD you can have regular periods every month. So as far as I know it shouldn't interfere with that but check with a professional on the topic. Either go see your gyn or go see Planned Parenthood. Your parents don't have to know. They will advise you what is best for BC if you haven't started a cycle yet.
If this is the only reason you are not sure about having sex, go get this taken care of. If you have other reasons such as you like him as a friend but don't really have any strong romantic feelings, then you may want to let him. I don't he's willing to continue dating you if it's not ending in having sex. Don't feel bad if this is the case, you want your 1st time to being reasonably nice despite that fact that you are just learning. So you should feel some chemistry, be attracted to the guy that you have sex with. There is much you can learn about dating, relationships and sex from a youtube channel, Sex Plus by Laci Green. I highly recommend you look her up. She's a peer for you... college age.
Good luck dear. [ Dragonflymagic's advice column | Ask Dragonflymagic A Question ]

If you're asking if you could get pregnant, I've looked into this awhile ago and saw that it would be possible to get pregnant. So if you do go through with this, use condoms. I wouldn't suggest it though since you wouldn't be able to get on birth control because you haven't had your period. It is better to be safe than sorry.
And as for it effecting your body, it would hurt ten times more. I mean it hurts girls who are 13 and have barely started their periods. So your body is still developing, it will hurt like crazy.
Honestly, I would wait awhile because it doesn't sound worth it right now. You could end up pregnant and it just won't be enjoyable.

The fact that your period has yet to happen also says your body has yet to receive the hormones needed to completely change you from a girl to a women. This would make intercourse very painful as while you may look like a women. Your sexual organ, your vagina, has not changed enough to be ready to accept a penis.
This is why so many young girls experience painful intercourse their first time. They are just to young and their bodies are not yet ready. The older you are the longer you have been in puberty the more time your body has to adjust and change itself to be fully an adult female. Yes, if your Hymen is still intact and not broken form using tampons or exercise, sex the first time may be a bit painful when you Hymen breaks. But not as painful as when your vagina is not ready to expand to accept a penis. The vagina not expanding is why some young women have trouble using tampons.
As to your question: Will having sex effect when you get you first period; I'm not 100% sure but I don't think so. One thing to worry about is if you have sex and are about to get your first period. If you have unprotected sex, meaning not having the boy use a condom, you run the chance of getting pregnant. For if you ovulate and eject an egg and have sex during that time. Instead of getting your period a few weeks later; you find out a few months later your pregnant.
No doctor will give you birth control medication until you have a regular menstrual cycle. So keep this in mind; you are what we parents call a late bloomer. Your period could arrive at any time; meaning you could be fertile at anytime of any month. Sex any time now could be dangerous for an unwanted pregnancy even with a condom as they are only 85% effective at preventing pregnancy when worn correctly.
I have probably not given you the answer you are looking for. Though it is the answer you need to know in considering if you should have sex now. I will add not to believe your friends when they say they have had sex for most of them, at least according to the most recent sex survey, have not. Most is all talk and less action. If they say they have had sex it is most likely oral or masturbatory type with a partner. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
