Deleting an app on Firefox

Question Posted Wednesday April 10 2013, 8:40 pm

Hi, it's me again. I asked before how to get rid of the AOL toolbar, and it worked.

But now I need to get rid of this stupid advertising thing called Supreme Savings or something like that. I have no idea how it got on my computer, but it's throwing advertisements all over my websites, so I can barely use them and most of them have sound too, so it's ruining my concentration. I went to the add-ons thing for Firefox, and removed it, but the advertisements are still there. How do I get rid of all of this?

That's adware and is a bit harder to get rid of than a regular toolbar.

Download Spybot and run it, and it should get rid of it for you.

If that doesn't work, use Malwarebytes.
