I found a portable version of tetris at windowstetris.com,but i always lose after a few minutes once the game starts to pick up speed. Are there any strategies to compensate? or ways to train? and does tetris really improve cognitive ability?
Don't worry they have beginner tips too. I just didn't know how far along you were in getting a grasp on the game. It takes awhile to get good at it. People told me that it would be bad for me because of a right-side and left-side brain thing with an LD. I can get at least 100,000 points now on it.

Maybe try to play other games with the same skill other than tetris and then go back to playing tetris. And continue to practice at it, until you see tetris shapes everywhere (it happened to me lol) im somewhat decent at it, but definitely not an expert.
