Question Posted Sunday March 17 2013, 8:35 am
i am a 16 year old girl and have been close friends with a lovley boy for 5 years now and we have always been close, however he is usually quite intimate calls me beautiful but when others suggest that we should date he ignoors them and wont talk to me. what should i do?
lightoftruth answered Monday March 18 2013, 3:06 am: It sounds like he is interested in you, most guy friends don't go around calling their girl friends beautiful. He could be afraid of losing a great friendship you guys have or he's shy. The way to find out is to ask him. If you really don't want to, then maybe act a little flirty with him and see how he reacts. You could even ask him who he likes. So those are three options you can choose from, I hope it works out for you. [ lightoftruth's advice column | Ask lightoftruth A Question ]

I think that you should take a risk and him, thats the only way you will really know. Reading body langauge can be hard and if his being acting this way for a while then its best that you sit him down and talk.

what you share with that guy is a beautiful relationship! If he dint like you he wouldn't stick around for 5years! He must be afraid of losing the friendship that you'll shared, hence he behaves that way. But if you really think its meant to work out between you two then why not step up and ask him?
And if hou want to know indirectly if he likes you, try hanging out with another guy, his reaction may answer your question:)
