It depends-if you just lie there then they should take you down but if you keep getting up and are anxious then they may have no effect.
It seems to me that all of a sudden there are a lot of questions about taking sleeping pills as a means of committing suicide. I suggest, whether you feel suicidal or cant sleep so have to take such heavy doses of sleeping pills, talk to a doctor-and go to A&E 24 hour mental health unit right now. It's not normal, and you don't have to suffer with whatever trauma you're going through...

Well they will probably kill you. Not really sleeping. You will probably fight for breath & vomit all over yourself.
Don't know why you'd take any at all if you didn't want to sleep.
