Whats the medical disease/term when you forget things?

Question Posted Tuesday February 12 2013, 1:10 pm

I am 41 years of age. How is it that I forget so many things? I keep losing money, small amounts but still, its money. $5, $10, $20 and just last night a friend gave me $50 and I lost that too. I was certain I placed it inside of my wallet. Didn't go out for the night, my 15 year old son and I was home but we were both inside of our separate rooms. I'm not sure of the medical term used to describe this forgetfulness, but I wonder, could I have early signs of something? for right now, its only money I lose, but I dont want this progressing into something that I have no control of. Could you make some suggestions please?

Have you talked to you son about the missing money? It's not your fault. and if your sure you didn't lose it .. well it just sounds fishy to me
