Like in the other replies you have received it is important to look after yourself. If the pain does not ease with pain relief or the pus does not clear up/go away with proper hygiene, by following the after care instructions or from the possible after care medications you were given; definately seek help now. I would advise you seek medical help anyway just to be sure & safe.
You do have options: Contact the clinic you went to, call a nurse hotline, go to a local doctor or hospital to make sure everything was done properly & that you are ok. This will not only help put your mind at ease but offer you further care in how to manage/fix what has been happening with your body. Depending on the type of abortion procedure you had know that the side effects, when to seek help, follow up care, possible complications...etc may vary from one individual to another. It is about you & finding out what you need through your own experience every step of the way including afterwards.
I would also consider talking to someone about your experience as an abortion does not only affect our physical body but our emotional/mental state too. It is vital to have support. Besides talking to someone close to you whether it be a partner, family member or a friend, seeking professional care from a counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist may be an option. There are also different outlets online or in your community depending on where you are like forums, retreats, groups...etc.

There are different medical and surgical ways abortions can be done. What risks or complications you might face now depend entirely on what method was used.
Calling the clinic where you had your abortion is probably the best first step, but if your pain continues, don't delay, head to the ER. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
solidadvice4teens answered Monday February 11 2013, 12:36 am: I found an article from a site called Afterabortion.org that states and I quote "Minor” complications include: minor infections, bleeding, fevers, chronic abdominal pain, gastro-intestinal disturbances, vomiting, and Rh sensitization. The nine most common “major” complications which are infection, excessive bleeding, embolism, ripping or perforation of the uterus, anesthesia complications, convulsions, hemorrhage, cervical injury, and endotoxic shock.
Here's what I advise: It's better to be safe than sorry. If you are really suffering go to an ER immediately. Tell them that you had an abortion and are now in a ton of pain and want to see that this is a normal thing rather than a dangerous one.
