about

Welcome to my column!

Thank you kindly for stopping by to visit & know I am sending you love & light right now. Whatever reasons brought you to my column or this site please be reassured that you are not alone.

I opted to name my column 'angel on ur shoulder' as I believe everyone does deserve an angel on their shoulder or may be in need of one at times. I do not pretend to have any magical powers or advice yet do aspire to offer you words that aid what you are going through & seeking answers for.

Due to my own personal history, which is filled with many of life's ups & downs, more downs than ups yet keeping positive & looking forward:-), I believe I am a person whom people could go to for advice. When I found myself in the depths of despair one day, I came across this site & thought I would give it a try. From the time it took me to ask & post my own question, I already began to feel a little freer again. Simply by choosing & being able to express myself in a safe place opened the steps for change. I hope I am able to relate to you in whichever way you need & type advice that displays a sense that finally someone gets it & gets me.

Bless xox

advice

after abortion now suffering in pus now what can do? Give me some advice And tretment if possible.

Hi, it was very courageous of you to reach out for advice! I am not sure if by now you have already sort help (hopefully you have done so) but I still wanted to offer you my own advice.

Like in the other replies you have received it is important to look after yourself. If the pain does not ease with pain relief or the pus does not clear up/go away with proper hygiene, by following the after care instructions or from the possible after care medications you were given; definately seek help now. I would advise you seek medical help anyway just to be sure & safe.

You do have options: Contact the clinic you went to, call a nurse hotline, go to a local doctor or hospital to make sure everything was done properly & that you are ok. This will not only help put your mind at ease but offer you further care in how to manage/fix what has been happening with your body. Depending on the type of abortion procedure you had know that the side effects, when to seek help, follow up care, possible complications...etc may vary from one individual to another. It is about you & finding out what you need through your own experience every step of the way including afterwards.

I would also consider talking to someone about your experience as an abortion does not only affect our physical body but our emotional/mental state too. It is vital to have support. Besides talking to someone close to you whether it be a partner, family member or a friend, seeking professional care from a counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist may be an option. There are also different outlets online or in your community depending on where you are like forums, retreats, groups...etc.

Feel free to contact me if there is anything else I may help you with. Take care & all the best!
