Mentally, I'm ready-I'm very mature for my age and am bright enough to pass all my exams.
Phisically though I don't look old enough. I look about 15 or even 14 on some days. The thing is, my physique is petite. So I'm about 5 foot 5 but very thin. How can I look older, because I don't want my young looks stopping me from getting invited anywhere at uni. What should I wear to make me look older? Thanks

The girls mostly don't wander around the campus in drop-dead heels and full make-up. You slop around being big kids between lectures, and do childish stuff like sitting-up all night playing kids board games while drunk and silly. And getting torn-off a strip by your house master for that midnight water-fight in the quad! You live together, see things and moods in each other only your parents have really seen before and basically live in a way you never will again when you graduate and leave. Now I guess that won't ever change. Don't worry, just go, be yourself, enjoy yourself. It's the sort whose stuffed full of their own importance who gets left out a bit...but even they usually come round to it before long. Some of them, male and female will be special mates the rest of your life. Good luck. Meery x-mas & a happy new year. Next years Christmas parties you'll be looking at photos of and laughing about years later! ps I did all that, and much worse!! But I still got BSc (Hons) in Engineering Design. A '1st' too! I was at De Montfort. Happy days.... [ rainhorse68's advice column | Ask rainhorse68 A Question ]
