xbox360 parental lock?

Question Posted Thursday November 15 2012, 2:43 pm

Recently I purchased a used xbox 360 from a pawn shop. Everything went nicely until I went to send a chat invite to a friend. It required a parental password or something like that. Considering I bought this from a pawn shop, I am unable to contact the previous owner and get the code. Is there a way to remove this code from the xbox? Or am I doomed to just get a different one without a code? If you have any advice on how to remove it etc that would be wonderful. Thanks for your time.

Looks like there's a way around it after all.
