Of course, not using anti-bacterial soaps, as these can also kill off the good bacteria that live in the mucous membranes. If this happens, it can lead to an infection. Also, another cause is an infection itself. Have you noticed any other form of discomfort, besides the smell? If so, I would suggest speaking with your mother or father, and having one of them set up a doctor appointment for you to ensure that you are alright. But, during puberty, your sweat glands work more than they use to, which can cause the smell to be more noticeable. A good way, (should it NOT be an infection) to help keep yourself smelling fresher, is to carry some wet naps on yourself, and each time you use the restroom, clean yourself with one or two. There are wet naps (or wet towelettes if you prefer) specified to help keep a woman fresher. You can get them at any store that sells feminine hygiene products. Also, be sure to read the instructions carefully, to ensure that you are using them properly. [ Rena-Chan's advice column | Ask Rena-Chan A Question ]
