Considering going to Verizon for internet

Ok, so I can get this verizon jetpack for 20 bucks a month and replace my internet at home. Thats what THEY say, but whats a 4g hotspot??? Does it work with my Desktop PC and my laptops? What is a cap? for 20 bucks a month itseems pretty cheap. HEP MEH! What am i buying?

A 4G Hotspot is somewhere you can use 4G.

A cap is usually a maximum on the amount of internet you can use. You should check this out, and ask your existing provider how much internet you currently use, so you don't go over (there is a charge if you do).

I'm not from the USA, and so I have no idea about Verizon, but here is a link to "PCMag" and they do a review of what you are talking about:
