Hey

So it depends what kind of discomfort, but I'm assuming you mean they're too tight?
Many people visit their orthodontist about this and get them to loosen them abit. However, if you do this the brace will be on for even longer.

I had braces for three years and no matte how much it hurt I stuck with it because then they come off quicker.

You could try:
1) A warm but not hot water bottle placed by you mouth
2)Hold a comfort cushion on your mouth
3) Take paracetemol and sleep the pain off
4)Wax usually helps
5)Sometimes distracting yourself. So either keep yourself busy or pinch your ear arm or something so the most pain is there instead.
