Ear Piercing: Do you always need a legal guardian with you to get piercings?

I'm 14 and want to get another piercing in my ear, but I don't think my mom is ok with it....do you always have to have a legal gardian with you to get a piercing?

oh. my. gosh. if your thinking of doing this behind your mothers back forget about it. if your so imatture as to do something that childish then you're not even responsible enough to get your ears pierced again.

If your mom says it's not a good idea, then it's not a good idea. Things tend to go wrong when you don't listen to your parents. You get another piercing when you're older. You have plenty of time to think about it.

Hi I'm Ella and I'm 13;) about your question, you really don't need a guardian with you but if your game enough like me you can do it your self!! All you need is a steralised needle and some ice!! If your worried about your mom I'm pretty sure she will cool off in time;) ( mine did ) so good luck with what ever answer you choose;)
