Firefox Connection Interrupted.

Question Posted Friday June 29 2012, 2:53 pm

Hi.
For quite a while now, this message when I try to sign up to certain websites and stuff:

The connection was interrupted
The connection to www.mozilla.com was interrupted while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

It's really bugging me now.
It's sites like YouTube login and Gmail and stuff.
I have no idea what Firewall is, but I know that it's ON...
If you could please help, it would be appreciated.
By the way I have a MacBook Air (if that helps you answer in any way whatsoever) and I have the new updated version of Firefox.
Thanks.
:)

A firewall is pretty much what keeps the internet secure from harmful viruses and malware.
If you can, turn the firewall off and see if that solves the problem.

I hope it helps!
