A few times, I have had a dream about someone, someone whom I don't really associate with or dream about, and I would wake up and check Facebook and find a message from them in my inbox. I don't understand how that happens. My personal guess, this sounds absurd, would be that we all have these energies and they can be felt by others. And the energies' core is in every being. That's a theory I came up with.. I've never shared that with anyone until now. I've also had two dreams that were visions of the future and I recall both dreams, I awoke from them in tears and a great feeling of depression. When the events happened in life that happened in my dreams, that great feeling came over me. That's when I remembered the dream and usually the dream took place a few months before it took place in reality. That's also extremely odd and probably not something most would consider believable. So to answer your question, I really don't know. Could be... maybe if that person talks to you the next day it could be a good guess that it's true. i've had plenty of dreams with Chuckie (the killer doll) and i'm pretty sure i didn't miss him...
you could have just been thinking about the person before you slept. Or they've been on your mind and some point lately. [ Imperfectionist's advice column | Ask Imperfectionist A Question ]

I know people believe that dreams mean something, but most rational, people don't believe that. If you do believe in it, then asking whether it is "true" is a flawed question, because you yourself believe that a dream has a meaning. Key word: Believe. Belief is not fact, or fiction, and so truth cannot come into it. Its like religion, you can't say that "jesus was the son of god. That is the truth" - you can not be dogmatic about that, or dreams.
In short, what I am saying is, there is no evidence that dreams have meanings. Dreams are usually just your mind playing with subconscious thoughts. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
