Here's what you absolutely MUST do. You really have no choice here you MUST proceed to the emergency room of your local hospital upon reading this and tell them your doctor's name and diagnosis of bipolar.

Tell them the TRUTH that you cannot function normally, cry all the time, are deeply frustrated and KEY WORDS "feel totally out of it." What it sounds like is that you are headed for a crisis that needs to be averted immediately.

I have bipolar disorder myself and I know from experience that you're in a lot of trouble here and headed for far worse if your doctor doesn't intervene pronto. Your medication levels are WAY OFF and they have to fix it or even change the drugs you take as they aren't working. It could be as simple as changing levels and or more complex.

At the ER tell them your doctor's name, your diagnosis as bipolar II, how long you have had the illness, the info I mentioned above and have their on-call psychiatrist assess the problem.

I know you want to stay as far away from a hospital ward as possible (and I feel that way too) but you have to do the responsible thing as this is life altering business if you don't and get help now rather than when the full hurricane hits you.

The doctor may decide to put you on a 72 hour hold. All this amounts to is a brief hospital stay where they will monitor your condition, rectify the medication and make sure you can function as close to normal as possible.

In the event they think you're delusional again or headed for it they will keep you in longer to make sure no harm can come your way. This isn't great but in many ways it's best for you as they make sure your condition is in 100% check.

So, do yourself a massive favor and head over to the hospital tonight and get helped as you will be saving yourself a world of hurt in the process. Write me back to tell me how things are after.
