I run about 3 miles a day. The problem is to apparently grow your hair "out" you're not suppose to wash it everyday. The natural oils are suppose to help it grow. I have a hard time not washing my hair because after running that amount of distance my hair is drenched in sweat and its disgusting to not wash it. Anyways, eventually my hair will get to where my boobs are, and it looks extremely dead. Once I get it trimmed, i'm back to where it started when I first got it cut. My hair is also extremely thin and dry.

But I actually wash my hair almost everyday (I skip a day about every 1-2 weeks) because I have super oily hair and it gets dirty really easily. My hair used to grow really slow, then I started looking closely at what I do to my hair and the products I use. I learned a few things to do that can help grow hair faster and make it healthier. First off, stay away from heated products. This includes blow drying your hair. Next, make sure your diet is healthy and full of vitamins. As for good shampoos and conditions, I recommend Mane N' Tail and Aussie. Mane N' Tail is actually most known for hair growth and thicker and healthier hair. The only problem is that it doesn't work for everybody, so you should try it out only once or twice a week to see how it works. Most people shouldn't use it everyday because it dries hair out; the only reason I do is because my hair is oily enough to handle it. Also, if you don't want to wash your hair everyday, you could try dry shampoo. I'm not sure how well it works, but many people have recommended using it. Lastly, try to trim your split ends about every 4-6 weeks. This prevents them from getting worse and eventually having to cut off more hair. I hope this helped and if you have any more questions just send me a message! :) [ mannequin24's advice column | Ask mannequin24 A Question ]
