I'm trying to capture a guys attention(I am a junior in high school)
I have a crush on this guy that my friends told me about. He's not in any of my classes so it's hard to ever see him. I have never met him, but my friends tell me that we have similar interests and I would actually LOVE to meet him. I'm on the shy side and I heard he is like that too. In what ways can I approach him? My friends don't really hang out with him so it's hard. What should I do? I really really want to meet him and capture his attention.

I'm sorry but this is funny to me. you have never met the guy, only heard of him... and you like him? Sweetie, you said you're a junior which means you are 16-17 and you should know how stupid that sounds, i mean if you were 13 i'd be a little less harsh but really you know NOTHING about this guy. For all you know your friends could have also just HEARD the things they were telling you or even exaggerating what they know or plain old making it up. Meet the boy yourself and talk to him. and then maybe you can call him a "crush".

I really think you should slow down a bit there. You haven't even met the guy you're talking about and you have a crush on him? As a guy if a girl was to start talking to me and said "I kinda want to get to know you better we should hang out at lunch or somthing" I would definitely say ok and atleast try to make friends even though I too am a shy person. What I'm saying is just go ask if he wants to hang out some, and definitely don't rush into liking someone you've never met.
