I have a crush on this guy that my friends told me about. He's not in any of my classes so it's hard to ever see him. I have never met him, but my friends tell me that we have similar interests and I would actually LOVE to meet him. I'm on the shy side and I heard he is like that too. In what ways can I approach him? My friends don't really hang out with him so it's hard. What should I do? I really really want to meet him and capture his attention. (link)

I really think you should slow down a bit there. You haven't even met the guy you're talking about and you have a crush on him? As a guy if a girl was to start talking to me and said "I kinda want to get to know you better we should hang out at lunch or somthing" I would definitely say ok and atleast try to make friends even though I too am a shy person. What I'm saying is just go ask if he wants to hang out some, and definitely don't rush into liking someone you've never met.
