I can be pretty emotional, and it gets irritating. I hate when people yell at me or get on to me. Little things can get me upset or cry. I would love some tips on being emotionally stronger. Im not sure if its cause my parents sheltered me quite a bit or what it could be. i just want to be stronger and not get upset over tiny things and cry or something. i understand everyones emotional, but i feel over emotional. i need a stronger backbone, and not let people get to me, and i can speak my mind and not hold back on so many things. Thank you!

Every time you get in an argument or on the receiving end of a good yell. Simply think about why they are mad. Most the time people yell because they are frustrated or tired, if you just talk yourself up in your mind it becomes a lot easier. Also focusing on things you love helps you with your emotions and makes it so much easier. Take up a hobby like painting and get all your emotions out through their, you can do this with music too, or even video games. Hope this helps. When ever you feel like crying think of god thoughs that made or make you happy. If you have someone to talk to around you like a good friend or even a therapist you can talk to them as you will feel better expressing your angers/worries. Dont hide your emotions hide as they are what makes up us at the time. Spread your winds and stay positive let your mind express its self. :)
Hope I helped and good luck! [ babymoby's advice column | Ask babymoby A Question ]
