asking a boy for his number
how can you ask a guy for his number without making it seem like you're hitting on him? you just like talking to them and they are funny, but still kind of like them. i don't want to go up to one of them and be like can i have your cell phone number. also i don't even have a Facebook to communicate with them. i feel so out of touch with my school.

Just be straight up. "Like hey you're cool and i like talking to you" (during a conversation or a brief run in) "and i would like to keep in touch, maybe we can exchange numbers"

Hey sweetie, well if you know this guy long enough you can start a conversation and during that conversation you can ask 'oh hey i cant belive i dont have your cell phone number , do you mind giving it? only asking because i dont have facebook' something like that.. that wouldnt sound as if your hitting on him but sometimes its obvious in the way you react towards that person.
I think you should start using facebook its useful! And helps you communicate better with family or friends.
