9th grade vs 12th grade...15 & 18

Question Posted Saturday February 18 2012, 2:17 pm

Okay, So there's this guy. But there MIGHT be a problem...Im 15 and hes 18. But he is still in high school and he JUST turned 18. I haven't really told anyone about it except my closest friends because I dont want to ginx it! I like him alot and frankly Im not sure what our status is right now. Im not sure if we are Talking talking or just friends at the moment. When we text we flirt alot:) But we have never had a conversation on the phone or v-chat before. We say "Hey" to each other in the hall way at school and he smiles everytime he see's me in the hall(:! He is a great listener and he is SO sweet. But I dont know what to do! Im pretty sure he knows that I have a crush on him. Sometimes I am scared to text him because I dont want to bother him or get on his nerves. I also don't want him thinking I am "immature or childish" Which I think I have matured alot over the past few months of being in High School. I really don't want to mess this up because he is already SO AMAZING! I like this guy alot and any advice would help thanks(:

I completely disagree with the user below me

At 18, He is legally an adult while I won't completely lecture you on the age there is a huge maturity difference between the ages of 15 and 18. An 18 year old man shouldn't be looking to date a 15 year old. Honestly, You are young and gullible and many older teenagers tend to take advantage of the younger ones. This guy may seem "amazing" to you but that doesn't change the fact that a guy is a guy. Everyone has their opinions and sure some will say age is just a number but on the other hand is it just a number or is it really a matter of peer pressure?.... I would think someone who is 18 years old would date someone their own age not someone who is a few years younger then them and out for sex.

If you like this guy then really get to know him the more you learn about him the closer you guys get. and if hes amazing as you say he is and seems as interested as you are then he will be willing to get to know you too. for now just talk if not you make the first move and see where that goes.

good luck
