San Francisco Vacation Planning??

Question Posted Friday February 3 2012, 11:53 pm

Okay so I SUCK at planning vacations... specifically finding good hotel deals. I went to booking.com and Kayak and all those popular sites and I just have no idea what I am doing.

So I have just a few questions... Please read all of this just in case you can answer any of them. (:

my first question is does anyone know of a cheap hotel in San Francisco California that is preferably within a 10-15 mile distance of Fishermans Wharf (or anywhere in Northern San Fran)?

It doesn't have to be anything fancy but I prefer a nice area to avoid burglary. We will be staying anywhere from 3-5 nights. My preffered price is $40-60 a night. There will be 4 of us.

Would it be cheaper if there was two of us and we snuck the other two in? Is that pretty easy to get away with?

I found a hotel called Union Square Plaza. Really cheap... seems to good to be true. Anyone know if this is a good one or if the area is okay... and once again Ill need to know if sneaking people in is easy to do cuz there is a max of 2 per room.

Are there people I can hire to help me plan the cheapest vacation?

And last... Is anyone willing to look online for me who actually knows how to do this stuff... Minimum of 5 nights. (Sept 1-6) I will be so so grateful.

Please let me know if you can answer any of these questions. Thank you! :}}}
