Question Posted Wednesday January 25 2012, 11:16 pm
so ive had my braces on for 4 years and now there getting ready to come off i am extremely nervous just because of the possibility of white marks on my teeth. i usually brush my teeth twice a day once in the morning the whole time im in the shower and then at night for 5 min. i don't really floss but when i do i dont have any food in between my gums. i had a baby during my process of braces and due to lack of sleep i didn't brush as good (twice a day for a few min.) but that only lasted like 2 months is it possible to have white marks just because of that? HELP I AM SO NERVOUS!!!! ( oh and I got my braces off at 14 so for like the first like 2 weeks I didn't brush that good either)

White marks can be sometimes caused by the glue which your orthadentist will scrape off as hard as they can. Those white marks though are not that big of a deel and most people who have them (like me) were from bumping your teeth on something when you were little! You have nothing to worry about, just be happy your getting your braces off! It sure is an exciting thing and I wish you good luck 8D [ babymoby's advice column | Ask babymoby A Question ]
