Hi.
I just had a problem with my computer (dell inspiron 15r. My account on it was all screwy so I made another account and deleted the original one. Now I can't find microsoft office starter or paint or anything like that, and I was just wondering if I can get it back? Any help is appreciated.
Now that you've determined it really IS gone, there are a few things you can do. If you have your Microsoft software CD, you can just install it from the CD. If not, you can go to someone else's computer(with permission), insert a flash drive or CD, and copy the file "mspaint" or "paint" from their C:WINDOWSsystem32 (or C:WINDOWSsystem64 if it is a 64-bit system) folder to the flash drive/CD. Now, go back yo your computer and simply move the file to your computer's C:WINDOWSsystem32 (or 64) folder, and you should have paint back. The last way to do it is to go to this link [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and download it.
Now, as for the Microsoft Office Starter, you can search for it using the same method I mentioned in the first paragraph, simply replacing "paint" with "office", "word", or any other of the programs to see if they are still there. If it isn't there, there is no legal way to get it back, as Office Starter is only offered in the form of pre-loaded software; it cannot be purchased. If you want Microsoft Office, you will have to purchase the full version either in a store, or online at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location).
