aint florida and california have the 3 strike rule.. well 17 u still a minor 18 is a adult...well you learn from your mistakes here in milwaukee you get paper or community service...3 time you will be doing time to teach you a lesson but also gives you a record that people will not trust you when trying to get a job..if thats how you want your future uour in the right path..or stop what you doing gett a jod before is to late ]
It varies depending on several factors. Are you being charged as a juvenile or as an adult. At 17 it could go either way. You should have a lawyer. If you don't ask the court to appoint one as that is your right.
As a juvenile the most likely punishment would be restitution to the store and probation. Possibly some community service hours as well. Expect that WalMart will ask that you be banned from their stores.
As an adult restitution would also be sought by Walmart. You would also be banned from their stores. You would have this arrest on a permanent record that you would have to list on any job application as Larceny.
Jail time is possible but not likely. You fight in school is most likely a juvenile offense and if you are in adult court then probably not seen by the judge. So this would be a first not second offence. Probation or possibly probation before judgment if you get a good judge and lawyer. If you get PBJ and you have no further arrest during the PBJ period then you will not have this arrest help against you and not have to list this as a conviction or arrest on a job application as it is expunged at the end of the time period. Supervision during probation is possible as well as community service.
The laws vary from state to stat. Everything depends on your lawyer the judge and the court you appear in. Good luck and I hope this teaches you something. ]
In many cases, If you steal from a company you would not be allowed to go back to the store.
It really depends on the charges that Walmart decides to press as well as the court.
Likewise, You will be charged with larceny, banned from the store and maybe even slapped with a fine to replace stolen goods. ( $280 ) If you are charged it will show up on your record. To get something expunged you have to wait 5 years from the date of your charges. Basically, If they decide to go through with the charges and you've got that slapped on your record....Your screwed job wise :/
Considering it your second time getting arrested you might get community service, However again this all depends on the Judge. Now a word of advice: Stay out of trouble, I've also done some real stupid shit in the past and it seriously isn't worth it. ]
