Age differences

Do you think it's wroung for an 8th grader to like a 6th grader? Me and. My friend both 8th like 2 boys who are in 6th and they're best friends do you think that's bad?

I would say it's fine but on the other hand you should bare in mind that the maturity level will be very different between the two of you.


Also, While most 8th graders are almost on their way to High School the 6th grader still has another 2 years. I wouldn't get yourself into something you know that it may not work out in the end......Keep a friendship and avoid getting hurt.

Totally. I know Tons of 8th graders who date 6th gradeers. Toooons! lol it's a 2 year age difference but it's your choice and if you go to the same school then yeah. Go for it and I hpe everything works out alright :)

Between 6th grade and 8th grade are some big maturity differences. 8th graders tend to be more physically, psychologically, and emotionally mature. Although none of you are done maturing yet, there is a huge difference.

I understand at your age that this is probably totally innocent, just the, "He/she is cute," that you see all throughout school, but if one of you starts to mature to a certain point then it could cause some problems.

You are not bad people, and liking someone 2 years younger than you isn't a bad thing, I just think the risk of someone getting hurt is too high.
