Anyways, I have been class prez and elementary school prez before, so I will give you a few tips.
Okay, a lot of times you hear that they want a fun president, one who doesn't discuss the issues, and wants to make everything as cool as possible. However, the issues are still important. I would take some of the most important issues and try to change some of them. That way people know you can make an effort and really care. You should also not make any promises. This is BAD to do if the promise can't be followed through. You should also be open to suggestions by students. Hear what they have to say. And lastly, try to negotiate fun days and trips for them, they will love you... NO PROMISES...
