I agree with 'Fankyfrank' He is obviously just trying to show his unconditional love for you. He is expressing his feelings the way my boyfriend does. It sometimes gets really annoying but it feels great when you think back on it and laugh (or cry, depends)

Well,I guess it means that he is deeply in love with you,don't be scared of that,that's natural in men,they try to impress you this way,all the same,you should talk to him about this,try to figure out whether he's joking or not:)
