spacers/braces hurt! What can I do?

i got my spacers in about 6 hours ago and they really hurt. what helps the pain?

Wax helps if you rub it on the gum underneath the wires. Also try putting a hot water bottle close to your face-this helped me. But the best thing is just to get an early night and you'll sleep the pain off. Good luck-you'll get used to them :)

Advil/Ibuprofen is the only thing that helped me. It will get better, though.
