How to convert the mp4 video on mac ?

I got some videos online last week , but it is a mp4 format .So I want to convert it to other format to make it more clear ,and at the same time I want to add some interesting effects . Give me some way to do this or a program which can do this . Oh , Almost forgot,my system is Mac ,Thank you !

You need a video converter. There are lots of choices for video converters online with effect enhancement setting.

I don't know honestly. Leopard's Quicktime will support FLAC however and that may make tools like this easier or obviate the need. This MP4 video Converter also does this. Resources:[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
