Hey, moving out is a huge responsibility. As soon as i turned 18 i was eager to move out so i did. @ the time i was juggling a full time student schedule and i was waiting tables. Its not only rent that you have to take into consideration but also groceries, laundry, utilities, and other random things that you dont have to worry about when you live with your parents. needless to say i was back at home after 6 months. But now i am 20 and i am taking a year off of college to work full time and really decide what i want to do with the rest of my life. I just moved out last month and everything is going to great. Before you jump into anything just make sure you are financially ready to be on your own. Make a budget and just stay on top of your bills and you should be just fine. Living on your own comes with a lot of responsibility but it is the best feeling in the world. GOOD LUCK!!

Everyone is different, People move out when they are stable and ready to live out on their own. I moved out when I was 22 at the time I had a stable job yes.

However living on your own nowadays is very difficult. You have to keep in mind that a steady paying job would need to pay your bills and then of course you've got electricity, food, water, phone and cable, etc.

So basically say you were renting out a 1 bedroom apartment for $700 a month, That would technically probably be about $1100 maybe even more. If you own a car you would add your gas, insurance etc. on top of the $1100. It's difficult but it's possible if you have a good game plan on how you'll go about it but it won't be real easy.
