Ok hello in my oppinion it didnt hurt but it just depends on how sensitive your ears are... I thought the earlobe hurt worse (I had my 1st ear percing when I was about 5 months old) and had my 2nd and my cartilage last year. You have to clean it 2-3 times a day untill it heals. You are NOT suppose to sleep on it for the firt couple of weeks and or monthes(depending on once again how sensitive your ears are). Last but not least they sould and always ask you which side do you sleep on. If you sleep on you left side you have to get the percing on the right and if you sleep on the right side you have to get it on the left side.

Hope I helped.

Hey there!
I have mine pierced in three places, it is not fun, it hurts a lot, when they push the needle in it makes this horrible popping noise too. It also takes a long time to heal, I had mine pierced in August of last year and it healed 9 months later. You have to clean it constantly, try not to touch it a lot and don't clean it with rubbing alcohol, use salt water on a cotton swab, it's not too fun but I am very glad I did it, it looks awesome (:

It doesn't hurt but keep in mind that piercings aren't always for everyone. Make sure you clean it daily until it heals or it could get infected and would need to be taken out.

Cartilage piercings can take up too 6 months to fully heal, At first it will sting and yes, It will hurt more then getting your ears pierced. Your ears are just flab, Your upper ear is a more sensitive part. If by any chance during the time after your piercing you experience pus or swelling. (These are signs of an infection) It would need to be taken out. Just make sure you clean it, You should be fine. Whatever you do, Do not touch it and do not play with it!
