Do spacers hurt when you get them put in?
okay i'm 12 and i need braces i went in today to get x-rays and the mold done btw the mold felt funni and i almost gaged but they said come back in on the 31st and we will put in spacers and imediatly i got scared. so my question is do spacers hurt when yo get them put in?

When they're immediately put in, they do hurt. And they will hurt for about a week or so. Try to bear with the pain and it will be hard to chew. Trust me, the results are amazing after your braces come off, but this is a very crucial step and you have to take the pain. Sorry. I went through it and so do a lot of people. You'll have amazing teeth and smile in the end, and that's all that matters! :D

dont worry! i had these before it will be fine, they are needed so the teeth will align properly! and your dentist will talk you through it so you will relax because if youre tense it will hurt more. so think of happy things and listen to your breaths while on the chair and it will be alright!
no pain no gain, you will look so good after this, think of that! )
