I Want To Wear A 60s Vintage Dress To School, But I'm Scared Of How People Will React
Question Posted Thursday August 11 2011, 12:11 am
Ok, I am 13 and i just got this 60s dress and its very very different from what people wear today. i want to wear it but i'm afraid of the reactions of others. as you know, im sure, middle schoolers are horrible to each other. also, if you tell me that i should wear it, give me some burns and comebacks to say to people who tell me it's wierd or ugly.
Most kids your age wouldn't know a 60's era dress if it fell on them. We wore some great clothes back then and like everything else clothing eventually comes back in style. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]

Just because somebody bullies you does not make it right to bully them back. It solves nothing. As long as you are proud of yourself, and you like it, then don't worry about what they say. If you are that worried about what people will say, I suggest not wearing it. But if it is your style then you should wear it no matter what anybody else says. I am sorry I did not fully complete your request, but I cannot encourage bullying. [ allaboutgay's advice column | Ask allaboutgay A Question ]
