PayPal Balance

Question Posted Tuesday August 2 2011, 10:27 am

I've never sold things on ebay before, but I just did yesterday. So my item sold and I go $13.99 for it. However, this amount did not show up as added to my balance on my debit card. It does say PayPal balance - $13.99. So does this mean that the money doesn't get sent to me? It just stays on PayPal? Please help, I'm so confused! haha

You need to withdraw funds from PayPal in order for it to go to your bank account.

Click 'withdraw' at the top of the page, then 'withdraw funds to bank account'. It usually takes around 2-3 business days to complete the transaction. I'm not 100% sure but I think if your account has been newly opened then you have to wait something like 21 days before you can withdraw any funds.

Obviously you need to have linked up your bank account with PayPal so that you can accept funds.

The PayPal 'help' section is pretty useful and clear and they'll probably be able to explain things better than I have: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location).
