Break up advice

Question Posted Sunday July 31 2011, 4:22 pm

I need some advice on how to break up with my boyfriend. We've been going on since June 9th of this year but I really don't see a future with him. I feel nothing when I'm with him and I don't know why it got like this all of a sudden. There's been times where I almost broke up with him but there's something that's stopping me but I don't know what it is. But the truth is I think we're better off as friends. What should I do? How can I break up with him without hurting his feelings that much because I do care about his feelings. Thanks in advance.

well at least you guys experimented and you know.. you get a good experience going out with people to find your true one... well if you dont feel anything please tell him now then later because it will just hurt him more and more! Sit him down and talk to him tell him what you told us and be calm about it and tell him look into his eyes that you do care about him but as friends is better and you cant feel anything... that your still by him at all costs.. dont worry he will handle it :)
just do it sooner then later! I think you should end it since you just posted something like this because if you felt something you wouldn't have posted anything like this off. Just dont do it on the phone, text, msn, skype, message, friend, parent, nothing! YOU in PERSON! because if you dont do it in person it will be even more negative then before

good luck

Well, I was in love with a guy named Ethan and 4 Months later i didnt feel anything! Well it was the day of the prom and i dumped him.. Well WRONG day but all guys will be upset but i would say the least hurtful way Is to write a note or call him and say I Would like to be friends (DA...DA..DA..) And All that.

Hint~ DO NOT
: Get his best friend to
: Your best friend
: Or text Message.

You can simply tell him that you don't feel the relationship is working out on your part and you'd like to remain friends. j

Or here are a few other lines you could use:

" My heart doesn't seem to be committed into this relationship and I don't feel it's going to work out"

" I have thought about our relationship lately and I feel we are better off being friends because I don't feel we are right for each other"

Or your best bet is too be honest and tell your boyfriend exactly what you told us above. It's best to know early on then to know later.

"The longer you hold on to something that is not there, The longer you prolong your pain"

-This is a true saying- Better to do it sooner than later.
