We talk every night, and he buys me presents... but he has a girlfriend already!
okay this guy lets call him ricky, he used to like in the begianing of the year and we started texting and flirting but i wasn't sure if i liked him so i kind of blew him off after a while. then he when out with this girl for about two weeks and she broke up with him. shortly after that we started talking again and we flirted alot and i was starting to think that i liked him but i wasnt sure well ricky eventually came out and told me he like me and i told him i like him too and then later that night i realised i didnt so i told him that and we ended up fighting becuase i had lied to him but i explained and we settled it that we would be friends. after that we kept talking and about a month later he said he was over me so we kept talking alot even now we talk everyday like its a rotine for us. and then about a month ago he got a girlfriend but she lives in new york. but even with a girlfriend he still flirts with me alot and also he tells me he talks to me more then his girlfriend he also tells me that he loves me all the time and tells me alot of sweet things and he says he cares about me alot, more then a normal friend and less the a girlfriend but his always flirting like last night i said i was tired and that i was going to bed and his like can i go to bed with you and i told him no theres only room for me and his like you can share you can lay on top of me and im like no i dont share and then his like havent you heard of cuddleing and im like thats what my pillows for and then his like how about spooning and im like i dont need to spoon with any one, i dont know am i overreacting and also the other day he said i was his best friend and that he was gonna give me a friendship ring, bracellet, or neckolace.
okay so what i want to know is...
1)is it right that we're so close when he has a gf? we talk every single day and night.
2)is he flirting or am i just looking in to it to much?
3)is it werid that his getting me jewlery when he has a girlfriend even if its only a friendship jewlery?

He really likes you and always has and he might like you for a while. Probably the only reasons he dates other girls is to get over you, he's using them as rebounds.
Everything he's doing are signs that he lkes you and yes he is flirting with you. I think you know yourself that it's wrong what he's doing beacuse he has a girlfried, stay in touch but tell him the flirting and all the purchasing of things has got to stop because you don't want to disrespect his girlfriend and you don't want to interfer in their relationship.
