okay i don't want any answers about how dangerous this or unhealthy so just dont waste your time if your going to lecture me. Anyways, I have add and I take adderall and have been for about 2 years now and originally suggested to my mom that i went on it because i heard you can loose a ton of weight on it and at first i didnt really have an appetite and when I am on it theres about a ten pound difference from when i dont take it. But Im going into my sophmore year at college and I want to loose at least 15 pounds by the end of august. I know that will probably be impossible but I want to do my best. Anyways I take 20 mg a day and i could probably go all day without eating by than by night I'm starving and crash and eat. I heard if you take 20 mg in the morning and than another halfway through the day you'll be set. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Want to loose weight do it the right way. When you ask for advice you shouldn't expect to get what you want hear but what you need to know. Advice that will help you and not harm you.
As a general rule I do not believe in fad or quick weight loss diets. They can be harmful and for the most part result in only a temporary weight loss.
I know of only one proper weigh to loose the amount of weight you are looking to loose. That is through a supervised weight loss program supervised by your doctor. A doctors supervised weight loss program with the help of a good dietitian and proper exercise may take longer to loose weight; in the end though the weight loss tends to be more permanent as you develop proper eating and exercise habits.
Fad diets and diet pills, not prescribed by a doctor, can be harmful and cause problems that can have life long and life shortening results. My advice is to diet properly and achieve results that are better for you in the long run. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
