I'm not sure how old you are, but many online occupations require the user to be eighteen or older. Also, many of the jobs available require a lot of work and patience for a little money!

If you are eighteen, try applying for a job a ChaCha. ChaCha is a question-and-answer resource where people log on or text questions to a number to receive a fast, concise answer. My brother's friend has had some good success with this site!

Another idea, if you're feeling creative, is to write for Associated Content. AC is a website that consists of user-generated articles. While the pay is quite small for beginners (maybe $5 an article?), if you wrote several a week, it could be a nice way to bring in some extra money!

These are the two most legitimate online occupations I could think of for teens. Be EXTREMELY cautious of websites offering "Cash for Surveys", along with anything that requires you to give out extensive personal information, such as credit card numbers, bank account information, etc. The key to making money in an online job is persistance! I wish you the best of luck!
