so i've been crushing on this guy, and he has dated 2 girls since i've known him, they are both GORGEOUS. he is a christian, and an awesome kid....
sooo he asked me if i wanted to go to lunch with him, so we went and he paid for my lunch - we talked about everything (even his ex) and we don't even know each other that well. then he said "i don't usually go out alone with just a girl" talking about some girl that was trying to get alone time with him. and he was like, "but you... i've known you, so it's different." anyways, i loved talking to him anddd later that evening, he posted lyrics from a country song "yeah that came out a little country, but every word was right on the money" and he has NEVER posted song lyrics before on facebook. am i looking too much into this ? haha . was this a date?

I'm not sure if he likes you.. but he's showing interest.
The only way to truly know is to talk to him and find out in person. you don't have like interrogate him or anything haha. Just tell him he's a great guy and you really like him. and then see what he says. If he doesn't say anything about you, then just be like- what do you think of me? or am I great friend?
It also might take some time for him to warm up to you and express how he feels around you. so be patient :)

I don't think you are looking too much into it. For you to know if he likes you, that0 you have to find out from him. Talk to him but don't look desperate.
