If it was late at night, was he with some friends? sometimes guy's friends will talk to their guy's girlfriend and say stupid stuff like that. So it could have been one of his friends, especially since its over facebook chat, you don't know if it was truly him or someone else on his account. And if it took him 20 minutes to respond, that could be another reason that he was with friends and was probably just busy.
If you're convinced it really was your boyfriend talking to you, then he's probably just being honest. He's just expressing how he feels about you getting a belly button ring. Honestly, I'm assuming you're pretty young, considering your bad grammar and a hello kitty belly ring. If you're a young girl and getting a belly button ring, that comes off skanky, slutty, trashy, and vulnerable. Yeah it looks fine on older women, but on a young girl it just comes off in the wrong way. Thats my personal opinion and your boyfriend could possibly be thinking the same thing. The only way to know for sure is to talk to him about it and ask him why he was acting so rude towards you.
Honestly, there's probably hundreds of excuses that he could have as to why he was acting that way. Maybe he was in a fight with his parents and was in a bad mood to begin with and took his anger out on you. The only way to REALLY know the truth is to talk to him and find out yourself.
