were we ever friends?

Question Posted Sunday June 26 2011, 2:35 pm

In the beginning of my 7th grade year, I started becoming friends with a girl from my advisory class. Before I could realize it, we were close best friends; we would talk on the phone every night and check math hw in the one class we shared. Then I noticed that she stopped doing her some of her math hw and started copying anything she didn't do. I didn't think about it much because I helped her with it. We remained close until sometime in my 8th grade year when she and my other friend stopped showing up to lunch. I felt like I couldn't depend on her. Soon enough, she started doing things with two of my other friends, but they never invited me. By then, she and I had already had a big fight (which she started out of nothing). All I can remember is her asking for help or for my math hw to copy. She would sometimes take it without asking. All of a sudden, she ditched my other friends and me to hang out with other people (which now I know, she does alot). Everyday phone conversations turned into weekly texts unless she wanted something. One day, she forced me into a bathroom stall with a math test she got from someone and told me to do it. Now that I haven't talked to her in a month and I'm starting to think back about it, was she really my friend or did she just use me?

From the signs of it,. i would say she definetly was using you,. i mean somme of her feelings could have been sincere,. but alot of the red flags are pointing me in the using direction,.

Hope this helps:)
