Making outt. (;

Question Posted Tuesday June 14 2011, 10:01 pm

I'm a 13 year old girl, to some it may sound too young for making out but ive never made out or kissed anyone before. I'm also very self conscious, and I have had boy friends and guys that I have liked that have liked me back. but when the time comes (I hope it comes soon even though I'm nervous) I want to no how to do it. Any advice helps :)
Thank you ! (:

There is no manual for making out. Just live in the moment and it will happen organically. While you are doing it, think about the sensations and emotions you are experiencing more than what it means.

And here is one piece of advice you can carry through your life: don't overthink. Keep things simple. Don't always point the finger at yourself, don't hate yourself, and recognize that people grow at different rates. Some bloom early and some bloom late. Just try to be in charge of your life and live it according to what makes you happy and when good opportunities come along jump at them.

Well I don't think you really need to stress out about it. It's just kissing. Moving your lips more and maybe tongue but it's not like it's hard.
You don't need to be self conscious about it either. I mean when you do have your first kiss, it'll be with a guy who really likes you and wouldn't push you for anything right? If you choose the right guy then you won't have to worry about feeling so self conscious because he won't mind if you haven't kissed anyone.
If it helps any, I didn't have my first kiss till I was 15. I'm 16 right now, almost 17 so almost a year ago. It will come naturally, trust me.

No one can tell you step by step of making out,. everyone is a little bit different,. It's pretty much kissing,. over and over,. And because you have never kissed a boy before,. it is completely normal to be nervous. The time will come when your ready to be kissed and to kiss someone else. So take a deep breath and just relax. You are still very young so just have fun and when the time is right it will be right.
