He might have cut you with his fingernails if he didnt trim them, and even if he did, it could still be sharp enough to leave a cut.
but, he could have also broken your hymen.. depending on what exactly happened when he fingered you.
i highly doubt its an ifection. does it hurt? does it hurt to go to the bathroom? do you have any other symptoms?
if not, im pretty sure youre fine, but if youre really worried about it, take a trip to your doctor or gyno to ease your mind :]
good luck ! hope i helped, xxo.

If it was a small amount of blood, your hymen probably broke or he could have cut your with his fingernails. If it continues for more than a day or two, is accompanied by any other strange side effects or becomes more than just a little bit of blood, it's always a safe bet to see your doctor.

None of us are doctors and it is hard to make a diagnostic decision over the web if we were doctors.

Most likely it is not an infection as infections take time to set in. Your friend with benefits either broke you hymen or tore it a bit. If the discharge continues for more than a day or two it is best to check with a doctor.
