My cousin stayed at my house last night and she woke up screaming and crying because she had a nightmare and I didn't know what to do to help her. I gave her a hug and a kiss and she was still crying. She's 18. I'm 24. Whatelse could I have done to comfort her ?

I think you need to check for a gas leak in your general area. Apparently everyone in your life is crying uncontrollably. This is what, the fifteenth question you've asked about people sobbing in your presence?
Sometimes people cry. You'll just make things worse if you don't let them get it out of their systems. Let them know you'll be there if they need you, then leave them to calm themselves down. You can't force it.
